"Evangelize the world from the back of your car!"
Make a Lasting Impression with Catholic Impressions!

Scott feels this powerful Patron Saint of workers was the one who inspired him to design our first Car Magnet – the Crucifix. He designed these spiritual message magnets for two reasons:
1) To evangelize the world about the awesomeness of our Roman Catholic Faith.
2) To one day bring him home to his family – away from a job that frequently demands 12 hour day and night shifts, often for many days in a row – for months on end.
Susan was raised Catholic never really totally in touch with her faith, due largely in part to the misinterpretations of the Vatican II documents – which left a trail of confusion for so many of the Church’s members. Then one day she happened upon a certain nun on television. She later learned it was Mother Angelica, and EWTN. Finally, she proceeded to learn the many truths and the richness of our Catholic Faith. She fell in love with her Faith - the Saints, The Blessed Mother, and most of all – the Eucharist.
Susan’s main goal in life now is to employ God’s Grace, for the sanctification of her own soul, the souls of her family and loved ones and any other souls God should put in her path. She loves the dignity of her role as a wife, mother and homemaker. She feels truly blessed to be able to home school their children and very grateful to her husband who works hard, so that she may pursue this rewarding role.
The seeds of Catholic Impressions were first planted in Scott’s mind and heart, last Christmas, (2004), when he and Susan read a pitiful sign of apology, which was posted at the entrance of a store, in a local mall. The sign asked for the pardon of any patron who may be offended with the wishing of a “Merry Christmas” by the store personnel (as opposed to a “Happy Holidays”). While Susan’s initial reaction was one of praise at the store’s willingness to ‘speak out’, Scott’s reaction was different. He was angry and most of all sad that our society had dropped so low - that Our Lord’s Birthday had become an occasion for apology.
A few months later, while driving the long trek to work once more, Scott asked St. Joseph to help him find a way to spend more time at home with his family. In the back of his mind there was that pitiful sign of apology right beside all of the fresh assaults on the Catholic Church by the media. While on the highway, he noticed some popular car magnets on the backs of cars. He then had an idea – to bring the Truth of the Catholic faith to our Communities, and to defend our Faith against such assaults. His idea was to use that popular messenger – Car magnets! And so Catholic Impressions began. It has been entrusted to good ole’ St. Joseph – on the Feast of St. Joseph, the Worker.
The Pro-life magnets were another divine inspiration. At birth, Scott himself was given up for adoption. Although he has never met his parents he is extremely grateful that he was not aborted as a child and realizes that there is a greater purpose for him on this earth. After all, had Scott been aborted by his mother, you likely wouldn’t be reading these words or enjoying these products.
It is our family’s desire that you and your loved ones truly enjoy these products, and will utilize them all – for the Greater Glory of God. God Bless You All!

Catholic Impressions was developed by Scott and Susan Follansbee. We are a Roman Catholic family, who are in full submission to the Magisterium of Holy Mother Church. We live at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, where we home school our three daughters. We enjoy many activities such as horseback riding, voice and piano, church choir, ice skating and hiking in the Rockies with Grandma and Grandpa.
Scott is a convert to the Faith, after having witnessed the holiness of Pope John Paul II during his 1993 trip to Denver. He took the name of St. Joseph, at his Confirmation, because he felt drawn to him. He later realized that he had actually been born at St. Joseph’s hospital, and baptized (as a Protestant Christian) at age 14, on the Solemnity of the Feast of St. Joseph. One friend recalled Scott’s strong devotion to this powerful saint, when she heard Scott tell her husband that he “never leaves home without him.”
